Are you an LMFT financially impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic? The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is distributing up to $20 billion in financial assistance through Phase 3 of the Provider Relief Fund if MFTs and other providers have lost revenue or have expenses attributable to COVID-19. Applications for this assistance are due by Friday, November 6.
In order for an MFT to be eligible to apply for this funding, the applicant must be a provider as of March 31, 2020 who has billed a health insurance company, or who does not accept insurance and has billed patients for healthcare-related services as of March 31, 2020. Please visit the Provider Relief Fund application portal to apply or to ask questions pertaining to eligibility and the application process. The deadline to apply is November 6, 2020. We strongly encourage eligible MFTs to apply. MFT and other providers could greatly benefit from this relief fund.
