The American Red Cross is currently deploying new disaster mental health (DMH) volunteers to support the disaster response efforts in Louisiana. They have about 10,000 people in shelters, 24,000 households have been affected, and at least 7 people have died as a result of this disaster. Please see this flyer for more information.
